Visa Information
International attendees are encouraged to begin the visa process as early as possible, since visa appointment availability and processing times can vary by country.
Visa Support Letters
The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend ACM-sponsored conferences. ACM can, however, issue visa support letters.
ACM is able to provide visa support letters to attendees as well as authors with accepted papers, posters, or members of the conference committee. If you are a recipient of an ACM, SIG, or conference-funded travel grant, please include this information in your request.
Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received.
Information Needed
When requesting a visa support letter, you should be prepared to provide:
- Your name exactly as it appears on your passport.
- Your email address.
- Your current postal mailing address.
- The conference name: ACM DXConf 2026: The Inaugural ACM Conference on Digital Transformation.
- Conference location: Ann Arbor, MI, USA.
- Conference dates: October 29–30, 2026.
- Your registration confirmation number, if you have already registered.
- If you have an accepted paper, poster, or presentation, the title of your work and whether you are the sole author or a co-author.
- If you are a conference committee member, your committee role or designation.
- If applicable, whether you are a recipient of an ACM, SIG, or conference-funded travel grant.
Accepted authors, presenters, and conference committee members may request a visa support letter before registering for the conference if registration is not yet complete. Other attendees should register before requesting a letter.
ACM does not provide letters for transport of vendor or presenter equipment. ACM suggests shipping materials insured to the conference facility.
